Police are actively searching for a Thai man accused of fatally stabbing a Myanmar worker and injuring the worker’s wife during a violent confrontation in Baan Manik, Srisoonthorn. The altercation is believed to have been sparked by suspicions of an affair between the Thai man and the Myanmar man's wife.

The incident occurred around 11 PM on Tuesday night (Aug 27), when the victim, identified as Wu Tun Nyan, confronted the Thai man, known only as "Mr. Game," over suspicions of an intimate relationship with his wife, Daw San Myint. The confrontation quickly escalated, leading to a tragic outcome.

The Violent Encounter

During the altercation, Mr. Game allegedly attacked both Mr. Wu Tun Nyan and Ms. Daw San Myint with a knife. Mr. Wu Tun Nyan sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to Thalang Hospital. He was later transferred to Vachira Phuket Hospital, where, despite the medical team's efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

Ms. Daw San Myint was also injured in the attack and was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital for treatment. Her condition remains under observation.

Police Investigation Underway

The incident was reported to police by a representative of a workers' camp in Baan Manik at approximately 2:59 AM yesterday (Aug 28). Upon receiving the report, Thalang Police launched an investigation and are currently searching for the suspect, who fled the scene after the attack.
