Mehdi Taremi Joins Inter Milan: Contract Until June 2027 Confirmed
Inter Milan has officially signed Mehdi Taremi, extending his contract until June 2027 following his departure from Porto.
The Iran international's acquisition was confirmed by Inter on their official website and social media platforms. Taremi underwent initial medical examinations months ago and completed final checks in Milan on Friday morning.
A prolific scorer, the 31-year-old netted 91 goals in 182 appearances for Porto from 2020 to June 2024.
Taremi marks Inter’s third summer signing, joining Piotr Zielinski as a free agent and Josep Martinez, who transferred permanently for €15m from Genoa.
Following an injury to Tajon Buchanan, Inter seeks defensive reinforcements as the Canadian star remains sidelined until December due to a tibia injury sustained on international duty.
