Manchester United has turned down a bid from Fulham for midfielder Scott McTominay, according to talkSPORT. The Scottish international, a product of the Manchester United academy, has become a regular first-team player in recent seasons.

Last year, West Ham showed interest in McTominay, but he chose to remain at Old Trafford. Fulham's recent attempt to sign him for the upcoming season was unsuccessful, with their offer falling short of West Ham's previous £30 million proposal.

Fulham's interest comes as they seek a replacement for Joao Palhinha, who has joined Bayern Munich. While Manchester United is open to selling the 27-year-old midfielder, they are holding out for a suitable offer.

McTominay has made 252 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions, scoring 29 goals and providing eight assists. Despite making only 18 Premier League starts last season, he played a significant role in United's FA Cup-winning campaign, including the final against Manchester City.

Galatasaray has also expressed interest in McTominay, with their vice-chairman, Ibrahim Hatipoglu, confirming that discussions about his transfer fee are ongoing.

Manchester United's summer transfer window is heating up, with the club recently signing Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. They are also on the verge of signing centre-back Leny Yoro after Lille accepted a £52 million bid for the 18-year-old. Additionally, Erik ten Hag is reportedly interested in reuniting with Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt.

In other transfer news, West Ham is in advanced talks with Manchester United over a move for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Ten Hag, preparing for his third season as Manchester United manager, has had his contract extended to 2026 despite ongoing speculation about his future.
