A 68-year-old Thai woman died while relaxing in a sauna area of a fitness club at a shopping mall in Nonthaburi province, near Bangkok. Her body was discovered last evening, June 10. A worker at the fitness center discovered the lifeless corpse of 68-year-old Thunchanok in the sauna area about 6 p.m. yesterday. Despite the worker's earnest CPR attempt, it was clear that Thunchanok had died before being found.
According to Channel 8’s report, the intense heat of the sauna room had turned Thunchanok’s skin a deep red, with significant peeling observed on her arms, chest, face, and neck, exposing underlying flesh.
Further insights from other staff members at the fitness centre unveiled that Thunchanok was a regular patron. Typically arriving around 8am, she would engage in her exercise regimen alone, without the company of a friend or a trainer. Her departure, usually around 11am, often went unnoticed by the staff, who assumed she had already left the premises.
