Raphael Varane Jets to Como for Shock Move After Leaving Manchester United on Free Transfer

Raphael Varane is set for a surprising move after departing Manchester United on a free transfer. The French defender jetted to Como on Saturday to negotiate a potential transfer to the newly promoted Serie A club.

With his Manchester United contract expiring tomorrow (Monday), Varane will officially become a free agent. Although Inter Miami and several clubs in the Middle East have shown interest, Como currently leads the race for his signature, aiming to make a significant impact in the Italian top flight.

Como's Ambitious Plans

Como has already made notable signings, including Italy striker Andrea Belotti and Marseille goalkeeper Pau Lopez. The club intends to continue its ambitious recruitment by adding Varane to its ranks, enhancing its squad ahead of the new season.
