Manchester United is preparing to part ways with Mason Greenwood, with Valencia emerging as a strong contender for the young forward alongside Juventus. The Spanish club has reportedly made a £25 million bid, according to the Mirror.

Greenwood, who spent a successful loan spell at Getafe, is keen to remain in Spain. The 22-year-old scored 10 goals in 36 appearances for the Madrid-based team and has expressed his gratitude to Getafe fans on social media, stating: "Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season. Despite Juventus's willingness to meet Manchester United's valuation of up to £40 million with add-ons, Greenwood's preference to stay in La Liga might tilt the scales in favor of Valencia. Financial constraints have prevented Getafe from making a permanent move for the forward.

Besides Valencia and Juventus, other major clubs such as Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Lazio, and Napoli have also shown interest in Greenwood. However, no concrete offers have materialized so far.

The future of Greenwood at Manchester United came into question after Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired a 27.7 percent stake in the club. The Ineos chief mentioned that a decision regarding Greenwood's future would be made at the end of the season.
