Celebrating Queen Suthida’s Birthday

The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) will waive toll fees on three major expressways on June 3, 2025, to honor Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s birthday. This toll-free period, spanning from 12:01 AM to midnight, will cover 61 toll booths, providing significant relief for motorists across Bangkok.

Three Expressways Included

Chalerm Maha Nakhon and More

The toll exemption applies to the Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway (20 toll booths), Si Rat Expressway (31 toll booths), and Udon Ratthaya Expressway (10 toll booths). These routes, critical for Bangkok and surrounding areas, will be accessible at no cost, enhancing travel convenience on this national holiday.

Easing Congestion and Costs

Ministry of Transport’s Initiative

Approved by the Ministry of Transport, the toll waiver aims to reduce traffic congestion at toll plazas and lower transportation expenses for commuters. By eliminating fees, EXAT seeks to facilitate smoother travel and make the Queen’s birthday celebration more accessible for the public.
