Marcus Rashford made it clear on Tuesday that he is ready to leave Manchester United, but no club is more likely to sign him than Paris Saint-Germain.

The 27-year-old Rashford revealed he is interested in a “new challenge” less than a month after new manager Ruben Amorim took over. United’s Amorim left Rashford out of the squad for Sunday’s game against Manchester City, where the Red Devils won 2-1 with a late comeback.
Attention has been focused on the striker’s future, but not for the first time. PSG has been heavily linked with a move for Rashford in 2022, but the French champions don’t seem all that interested, and of course no swap deal has been reached. There has been recent speculation that United could sell Rashford to PSG in exchange for Randal Kolo Mouani, the out-of-favour striker who was linked with a move to Old Trafford last year. Kolo Mouani is fresh off a fantastic season with German club Eintracht Frankfurt and has just featured for France at the World Cup.
However, the Daily Mail reports that claims of a Rashford-for-Kolo Mouani swap are far from the truth. The 26-year-old is under contract with PSG until 2028 and the original transfer fee was €75m (£64.2m).
However, his last start was on October 6 and he was left out of the squad entirely for the weekend win over Lyon, so his future in Paris looks bleak. On Tuesday, when asked about Kolo Muani’s continued absence, PSG manager Luis Enrique said: “I can talk about it, but I won’t, because, as I said, even if all my decisions can be changed, my decision speaks for itself.”
Rashford could also be moved in January, as he told Henry Winter during a visit to his hometown’s Button Lane Primary School over Christmas: “No hard feelings” when I leave. You will not hear any negative comments about Manchester United from me. This is who I am.
