The Phuket to Krabi ferry leaves Rassada Pier for Klong Jilad in about two hours. November times, fares from 1,400...
PHOODIE Phuket Food Festival runs from 20 to 29 November 2026, with Road Map menus, a Limelight Meet night, passports and booking tips.

The PHOODIE Phuket Food Festival is Phuket’s first island-wide premium dining event, running from 20 to 29 November 2026 and organised by the Phuket Hotels Association. About 50 restaurants and bars take part, from hotel dining rooms to independent kitchens, with special menus during the opening week, a public market night in Phuket Town, and an invitation-only awards gala at the end. If you are already here for the start of high season, this is the week when many well-known tables publish dishes you will not see the rest of the year.
The official programme lives on the Phuket Hotels Association PHOODIE page, which lists venues and updates dates as each kitchen confirms them. Use that calendar for prices and reservation rules, because each restaurant sets its own.
The PHOODIE Phuket Food Festival is split into three parts. From 20 to 27 November, the Culinary Journeys — also called the Road Map — happen at the restaurants themselves. On 28 November the kitchens gather for PHOODIE Meet at Limelight Phuket in Phuket Town, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. On 29 November the PHOODIE Dining Awards close the week with an exclusive gala. Local reports of the organiser’s programme place that gala at InterContinental Phuket Resort in Kamala; it is not a public ticketed dinner.
The dates sit in a busy stretch of the Phuket calendar. Loy Krathong in Phuket falls on 24 November, in the middle of Road Map week, and Phuket weather in November still brings showers on some days even as the seas begin to settle. Keep a spare indoor evening rather than stacking a boat trip and a tasting menu on the same date.
Each participating venue hosts its own festival offer: a themed menu, a one-off dinner, a chef collaboration or a cocktail pairing. Some run a single evening. Others keep the offer on for several nights. The festival groups those experiences into six themes:
Picking a theme first is the fastest way to cut fifty venues down to a shortlist. Visitors who came for southern Thai flavours and Andaman seafood should start with Seafood Celebration and Phuket Peranakan, then cross-check our guide to seafood restaurants in Phuket. For a longer sit-down, look at the Chef’s Table Series and book early.
There is no single printed booklet with every price. The association publishes times, formats and booking details on the digital calendar as kitchens confirm them. Book through the restaurant, not through a tout outside a mall.
| Part | Dates | Where | Who can go |
|---|---|---|---|
| Culinary Journeys (Road Map) | 20–27 November 2026 | Each restaurant or bar, across Phuket | Anyone who books that venue |
| PHOODIE Meet | 28 November 2026, 4:00 pm–10:00 pm | Limelight Phuket, Phuket Town | The public market night; check the official page for entry details |
| PHOODIE Dining Awards | 29 November 2026 | Invitation-only gala (reported at InterContinental Phuket Resort) | Invited guests only; public voting for some awards closes on 27 November |
PHOODIE Meet is the night most visitors can join without a multi-course reservation. Participating restaurants and bars set up stalls in a walking-street layout at Limelight Phuket, so you can taste small plates and drinks from kitchens that would otherwise take a week of bookings to cover. The official programme lists live music, chef competitions, bartender competitions and PHOODIE Passport rewards between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
Limelight is in Phuket Town, not on the beach. If you are staying in Patong, Kata or Karon, allow for evening traffic and go by Grab or taxi. Visitors combining the week with an island hop can arrive on the Phuket to Krabi ferry earlier that day and still make the 4:00 pm start if the crossing is running normally.
According to the organiser’s programme, diners who attend a Road Map event receive one PHOODIE Passport per person, per visit. Each passport can be redeemed for one bite or one drink at PHOODIE Meet on 28 November. Visiting another participating restaurant, or returning to the same one, earns another passport. That reward is a reason to book at least one Road Map dinner before the market night, not a promise that every stall is free.
The Dining Awards on 29 November are separate. Best Chef, Best Bar and Best Restaurant are decided by public vote in the published programme, and voting closes on 27 November. The ceremony itself remains invitation only.
The official list mixes international hotel restaurants with independents. Named venues include Black Ginger at The Slate, Aulis Phuket (the chef’s table at Iniala, which listed a seasonal closure until 16 November), Sizzle rooftop restaurant, Five Olives, CHAR’D Grill at Avista Grande Karon, Takieng at Renaissance Phuket, Casa Boho at Hyatt Regency Phuket, Kata Rocks, Yue Restaurant and Bar at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town, MARNI in Phuket Town, and Rock Salt at The Nai Harn. Hotel groups across IHG, Accor and Marriott also appear through bars and grills in Kamala, Patong, Karon and Mai Khao.
Treat that list as a starting point. Confirm opening hours on the official calendar before you cross the island for dinner. If you are building a wider plan around the PHOODIE Phuket Food Festival, our 3-day Phuket itinerary is a useful frame for mixing one serious dinner with beaches, Old Town and a rest night.
The PHOODIE Phuket Food Festival will not replace ordinary restaurant bookings, and it will not publish one set price for every plate. What it does is concentrate many of the island’s better kitchens into the last ten days of November, with a single public night when you can sample several of them in one place. Read the official page, book the tables you care about, and treat Meet as the social midpoint of the week.
Yes, for the Road Map dinners you book yourself and for PHOODIE Meet on 28 November. The Dining Awards on 29 November are invitation only.
The organiser describes Meet as the public market night at Limelight Phuket from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Check the official festival page for any entry or timing updates before you go, because those details are not fixed in a printed programme.
The published rule is one passport per diner, per visit to a participating Road Map venue. Meet itself is still presented as a public market night; the passport is a reward you redeem there, not the only way in.
Loy Krathong falls on 24 November, during Road Map week. The two can work together if you book lunch or an early dinner that day and keep the late evening for the beach, or the other way around.
