Bangkok’s city center will come alive with Bangkok World Music Day 2025, a free festival set for Saturday, June 14, starting at 2pm at Alliance Française and One Bangkok. This cultural extravaganza promises a dynamic blend of music, creativity, and inclusivity, transforming the urban landscape into a hub of celebration.
Organized by the French embassy in Thailand, the event features more than 28 Thai and French artists, complemented by international DJs, performing across multiple stages. This major cultural initiative aims to deliver an unforgettable afternoon and evening of diverse musical performances for all attendees.
Open to everyone at no cost, the festival offers a welcoming environment with food stalls, interactive activities, and a busking competition. These elements encourage spontaneous creativity and community engagement, making it an ideal outing for families and music enthusiasts alike.
Inspired by the global “La Fête de la Musique,” the festival seeks to unite cultures, generations, and musical genres. It serves as a vibrant tribute to artistic expression and public access to culture, fostering a shared appreciation for music’s universal language.
Partnering with One Bangkok, the event has grown to include multiple performance spaces adjacent to Alliance Française, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience. This collaboration amplifies the festival’s reach, offering diverse stages for an array of musical acts.
Supported by Live Promotions, the festival showcases a curated lineup of Thai, French, and Senegalese artists, promoting cross-cultural connections. Headliners at One Bangkok include Thai stars and international bands, with 12 hours of DJ sets continuing until 2am.
Alliance Française’s stages will host acoustic performances, including classical, jazz, pop, and rock. This variety ensures a rich musical experience, catering to different tastes and highlighting the festival’s commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of genres.
The lineup features prominent artists like Phum Viphurit, Gene Kasidit, Paradise Bangkok Molam International, and Emile Londonien, alongside acts such as Landokmai, Réjizz, and Mindfreakkk. Additional performers include the Mahidol Brass Band, Nuwave Trio, and Justin Mills, ensuring a dynamic and engaging festival.
