Benjamin Pavard and Lautaro Martínez fire Inter past Bayern Munich, setting up a blockbuster semi-final against Barcelona.

Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard has urged his team to seize their chance at Champions League glory after ending Harry Kane’s European dreams with a dramatic victory over Bayern Munich.

The Nerazzurri, who fell to Manchester City in last year’s final, held their nerve to eliminate the German giants 4-3 on aggregate, booking a semi-final showdown with Barcelona. Despite a late scare from Bayern—including a desperate shove on a ball boy by Josip Stanišić—Inter’s clinical finishing and resilience saw them through.

Pavard, who scored a crucial header against his former club, declared: “We did our job perfectly. There are no limits for us—we’ve come this far, and now we want to win it all. This team is special, and we’ve been building toward this for two years.”

Lautaro Martínez pounced on a defensive error before Pavard’s towering header sealed the win, despite Eric Dier’s late consolation header for Bayern.

Bayern boss Vincent Kompany rued his side’s injury crisis, missing key players like Manuel Neuer and Jamal Musiala. “We fought hard, but the absences hurt us,” he admitted.

With Barcelona next in their path, Inter remain on course for a historic treble—while Kane and Bayern are left to reflect on what might have been
