Myanmar’s Participation Clarified

While Myanmar’s internal political situation was not formally discussed, Thailand’s Foreign Ministry clarified that Myanmar’s leader was invited per BIMSTEC’s charter. Bilateral talks focused on earthquake relief and border security issues, including tackling illegal trade and drug trafficking.

Bangladesh Assumes Chairmanship
