Buakaw Banchamek Joins Forces with CPF

Renowned Muay Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek has partnered with Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc (CPF) to launch a unique charitable initiative. The collaboration, known as the “CPxMooDengxBuakaw” project, combines two of Thailand’s beloved soft power elements: Muay Thai and MooDeng, a popular pygmy hippo from Khao Kheow Open Zoo.

The project features special Moo Deng Muay Thai shorts designed to raise funds for the “Moo Deng Helps Flood Victims and Cares for Animal Friends” initiative. An auction held as part of the event attracted numerous supporters, raising an impressive sum of over 1.39 million baht. Buakaw expressed his honor in being part of this project, emphasizing its dual purpose of promoting Muay Thai while also helping animals and people in need.

The special Moo Deng Muay Thai shorts are now available for purchase in three sizes (S/M/L) at 899 baht each. Fans can buy them online or at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo. Additionally, limited-edition personalized shorts were sold through a live-stream event, receiving an enthusiastic response from supporters.
