A 30-year-old woman gave birth to her fourth child inside a rescue vehicle while en route to Samut Sakhon Hospital, sparking interest among locals who are now eyeing the vehicle’s registration number as a potential lucky charm for the upcoming lottery draw.

The Bang Khun Thian Civil Defense Volunteers (OPPR) in Bangkok received an urgent call yesterday about a woman in labor at her home near Phra Pradaeng Road. The rescue team immediately dispatched volunteers to the scene to assist and transport the woman to the hospital.

Emergency Delivery in Transit
When volunteers arrived at the woman’s residence, identified as Sirikwun, they found her experiencing severe abdominal pain and her water had broken. Without wasting any time, they began the journey to Samut Sakhon Hospital. However, as the rescue vehicle reached the Bang Bon intersection on Kanchanaphisek Road, it became clear that the baby was arriving sooner than expected. The volunteers had to stop the vehicle and quickly deliver the baby on the spot.

Charoen Phutthaya, one of the volunteers present, recounted the incident: “I received the call at 9 a.m. about a woman in labor near Phra Pradaeng Road. We prepared the necessary first aid equipment and headed to the location. Upon arrival, we found Sirikwun in significant pain, and it was evident that the birth was imminent.”

Charoen continued, “The baby was born at 9:30 a.m. inside the vehicle. It’s a healthy baby girl.” He also mentioned that the mother’s due date was originally set for September 17, making the baby approximately two weeks premature.

Safe Arrival and Speculation Over Lucky Numbers
Following the successful delivery, the Erawan Medical System team was contacted to provide additional support. Both the mother and her newborn were safely transferred to Samut Sakhon Hospital for further care.

The vehicle where the birth took place had the registration number “2005,” and Charoen’s volunteer code was “369.” These numbers have caught the attention of local residents, who consider them potentially lucky for the upcoming lottery draw, according to a report by KhaoSod.

Lottery Fever Peaks as Draw Approaches
As the lottery draw date nears, many locals and tourists have also been flocking to Kham Chanod Wang Nakin, a sacred site known as the mystical land of the serpent king, to seek blessings and fortune. The site is famous for prayers to Phor Pu Si Sutho and Mae Ya Si Prathumma, deities believed to bestow luck and prosperity.

Conclusion
The unexpected birth of a baby girl in a rescue vehicle has not only brought joy to the new mother but also stirred excitement among the community, with many hoping the vehicle’s registration number might bring them luck in the lottery. As anticipation builds, the connection between this event and the local belief in lucky numbers continues to capture the imagination of those looking for a chance at fortune.
