A total of 1.71 million travel partners worldwide received awards, including accommodations (1,711,539), car rental services (1,329), and taxi operators (124), marking a 16% increase in winners compared to last year.

Thailand Sees a 20% Increase in Award-Winning Travel Providers

This year, Thailand boasts 14,710 award-winning accommodations and travel businesses, a substantial 20% growth from 2024. These top-rated partners achieved an average review score of 8.8, based on more than 3.2 million traveler reviews worldwide.

Thailand’s renowned coastal destinations, including Krabi, Phang Nga, and Surat Thani, continue to be recognized as the country’s “Most Welcoming Cities”, celebrated for their pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking landscapes. However, emerging destinations are also gaining popularity, with Nan maintaining its top position for a second year and Sukhothai making its debut on the list.

Apartments have now risen to second place in Thailand, with 2,457 awards, surpassing resorts (2,228 awards). The list also includes villas (1,624 awards) and guesthouses (1,150 awards), highlighting the diverse accommodation options available for travelers.
