ASEAN’s Premier Manufacturing Event

Manufacturing Expo 2025 kicked off on June 18, 2025, at Bangkok’s BITEC, uniting over 2,000 brands from 30 countries in a 45,000-square-meter showcase of cutting-edge technology. Organized by RX Tradex, the event, running until June 21, 2025, features seven specialized exhibitions, cementing its status as ASEAN’s leading platform for industrial transformation, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Strategies for Thailand’s Growth

Industry Minister Akanat Promphan opened the expo with a keynote on “Reshaping Strategies for Thailand’s Manufacturing Resilience.” He urged a shift from low-cost production to innovation-driven, eco-friendly processes, targeting at least 1% GDP growth. Emphasizing public-private collaboration, Akanat highlighted the expo’s role in positioning Thailand as a competitive manufacturing hub amid global economic shifts.

The expo features dedicated zones for plastics, automotive parts, robotics, electronics, and smart factory solutions, alongside 100+ seminars led by 120 expert speakers. Highlights include the Automotive Summit 2025, exploring AI’s role in automotive innovation, and the Plastic Forum, addressing sustainable market adaptation. These sessions aim to equip professionals with tools to navigate Industry 4.0 and low-carbon transitions.

AI Reshapes Vehicle Ecosystems

Dr. Kriangsak Wongpromrat, President of the Thailand Automotive Institute, praised the Automotive Summit as a cornerstone of the expo, now in its 12th year. With 1,300 attendees and speakers from Thailand, Japan, China, India, and Germany, the summit delves into AI-driven advancements in safety, efficiency, and connectivity. It fosters collaboration among government, industry, and academia to shape Thailand’s automotive future.

RX Tradex Managing Director Varaporn Dhamcharee described the expo as a catalyst for cross-sector collaboration, offering a platform for knowledge exchange and business opportunities. From the NEPCON Forum on intelligent semiconductors to the Industrial AI Developer Summit, the event empowers attendees to embrace technologies that enhance production and sustainability, positioning Thailand as a global manufacturing leader.

Running through June 21, 2025, the expo is free to attend, with on-site or online registration available.
