13 Thai Cities in ICCA Rankings
For the first time, 13 Thai cities, including Chiang Mai, Pattaya, and Phuket, appeared in ICCA’s 2024 rankings, reflecting Thailand’s strategy to decentralize its MICE industry. This expansion boosts local economies and creates new business opportunities beyond major urban centers.

Thailand’s MICE industry welcomed 25.35 million travelers in 2024, generating 148.34 billion baht in revenue and contributing 309 billion baht to the economy, or 1.67% of GDP. These figures underscore the sector’s critical role in driving national economic growth and tourism.
