The clip, capturing a June 15 conversation aimed at de-escalating Thai-Cambodian border tensions, included Paetongtarn’s critical remarks about a Thai general, prompting accusations that Hun Sen exploited the recording for political gain in Cambodia, further straining bilateral relations.
