Paul Pogba has not ruled out a return to the Premier League as the French midfielder eyes his football comeback following a doping suspension. The 31-year-old former Manchester United star, who left the club in 2022 to rejoin Juventus, is now facing an uncertain future as Juventus is expected to terminate his contract by mutual consent.

Pogba’s return to Juventus has been marred by injuries and a doping ban. In his first season back in Turin, Pogba made just 10 appearances due to knee surgery and subsequent muscle injuries. Despite starting the 2023/24 season injury-free, he was handed a four-year ban after failing a doping test. However, following an appeal, the ban was reduced to 18 months, allowing him to resume training in January 2024 and potentially play again in March.

With Pogba’s contract set to be terminated and his availability as a free agent, rumors have been swirling about a potential return to the Premier League. Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Pogba did not rule out the possibility. When asked about a Premier League comeback, he said, “I am at Juventus, I am still under contract, this is where I am. My vision is to come back training and show that I am a football player, a new Paul Pogba but with the same qualities.”

Pogba’s future remains unclear, but with his free-agent status and desire to prove himself once more, a return to the Premier League is very much on the cards. Clubs across Europe, and particularly in England, are closely monitoring his situation.
