Partnership Launches Kaia Brand

Bound and Beyond and Cloud Collective have teamed up to introduce Kaia, a fresh luxury hospitality brand rooted in Southeast Asia, set to redefine travel in 2025. This innovative venture focuses on outdoor resorts with tented suites, blending seamlessly with nature and local cultures while promoting sustainable luxury, marking a bold step forward in the region’s tourism landscape.

Debut Resort on Koh Phangan

Opening Slated for Late 2025

Kaia’s inaugural property, Kaia Koh Phangan, is slated to open on the northeastern coast of Koh Phangan in the latter half of 2025. Nestled near a protected national park and a 30-minute speedboat ride from Koh Samui, this ultra-luxury beachfront tented resort embodies the Thai “jao baan” philosophy, emphasizing genuine human connections alongside exclusive beach access for discerning travelers.

Design Inspired by Thai Heritage

Sustainable Materials Elevate Style

Collaborating with Thai interior designer Dao Vichada, Kaia Koh Phangan showcases a modern twist on traditional Thai textiles and weaving, using sustainably sourced materials. The 3,177-square-meter tented suites feature ocean views, outdoor bathtubs, four-poster beds, teak showers, and private pantries stocked with local delicacies, while four two-bedroom villas with private pools enhance the resort’s upscale appeal in 2025.

Immersive Experiences and Amenities

Community-Driven Activities Await

The resort will boast an infinity pool overlooking the jungle, a chic beach club, and communal dining with open-fire beach feasts and chef-led forest foraging. Guests can engage with local artisans through ceramic workshops with live music or nighttime squid safaris, fostering cultural exchange and adventure, making Kaia Koh Phangan a hub for unique experiences in Southeast Asia.

Wellness and Sustainability Focus

Nature-Centric Programs Highlighted

Kaia prioritizes wellness with outdoor activities like ice bathing on longtail boats, guided meditation, yoga, and nature walks, moving beyond traditional spa offerings. Each resort will be single-use plastic-free, utilizing ground-filtered water and biodegradable packaging, ensuring an eco-conscious stay that aligns with global sustainability trends in 2025.

Culinary Delights Reflect Local Bounty

Seasonal Menus Drive Dining

Kaia’s culinary approach celebrates the region’s seasonal abundance, sourcing ingredients from nearby farms, waters, and forests. Menus evolve daily, featuring dishes prepared over open flames, slow-roasted in embers, or smoked, offering guests a taste of Koh Phangan’s natural wealth while supporting local producers and enhancing the resort’s reputation.
