Several locations across Thailand have been scoped out for the latest Jurassic juggernaut, Jurassic World 4.

A press release from the Thai Government PR Department confirms that production will get underway from June 13. The chosen locations include Bangkok, Krabi, Trang (Koh Kradan), Phang Nga, Phuket and Chiang Mai.

Jaturon Phakdeewanit, director general of the Department of Tourism, says filming of the movie is expected to generate around 650 million baht for the economy and provide business opportunities for companies involved in accommodation and catering, equipment rental, venue hire, and transportation.

It’s understood the Hollywood film crew is availing of a Thai government incentive that offers foreign film makers who invest over 100 million baht in the kingdom a 20% rebate.

According to the government’s press release, the Huai To Waterfall in Krabi’s Khao Phanom Bencha National Park is expected to be a prominent location for the movie. The Hollywood team is expected to spend at least a week filming there, with park officials making preparations to ensure production runs smoothly.
