French luxury brand Dior has officially opened its Dior Gold House concept store in Bangkok’s Ploenchit district. The grand unveiling took place on December 8, 2024, and was attended by various celebrities, including Kim Ji-soo, a member of the renowned K-pop girl group Blackpink. This new high-end destination seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary luxury.

Inside the concept store, visitors can indulge in exquisite desserts at The Dior Café, which is curated by three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. This café offers a unique dining experience that complements the luxurious atmosphere of the store.

The venue is adorned with works from talented Thai artists, showcasing a rich blend of local heritage and luxury. Among the highlights are pieces crafted from Chanthaboon mats, known as some of the finest handwoven mats in Thailand, originating from Chanthaburi province.

These mats have been transformed into striking designs, including a replica of a tuk-tuk, an iconic Thai vehicle, and chairs featured in The Dior Café.
