Amazon Prime apologises to Arne Slots after false referee claims Arne Slots Liverpool dropped two points in the Premier League title race after a thrilling 3-3 draw with Eddie Howe’s Newcastle at St James Park on Wednesday.

Amazon Prime has apologised to Arne Slots after falsely claiming that the Liverpool manager tried to influence the referee’s performance in Wednesday’s win over Newcastle. During Amazon Prime’s coverage of the 3-3 Premier League draw, it was suggested that Slots had spoken to referee Andy Madley in the dressing room at half-time to express concerns about his own performance.

Liverpool played three players in the first half. The claim was made against Newcastle manager Eddie Howe after the match, which sparked controversy after Madley blew the whistle during the host team’s break. “I don’t think I would do anything like that,” Howe said. “I know this is a sensitive topic. I’m more focused on my team.” However, the truth soon emerged, as Slott was actually talking “normally” with Madrid in the tunnel while the players, officials and coaches went to their respective dressing rooms. Amazon Prime claimed the error was due to a production misunderstanding.

The Times reported that Amazon Prime contacted Slott and Liverpool to express regret and apologize for the mistake. The apology was accepted and the matter was said to have been closed in Liverpool’s presence. Wednesday’s game was a thriller. Newcastle took the lead in the first half through Alexander Isak and Curtis Jones equalised after the break. After Anthony Gordon restored Newcastle’s lead, Liverpool needed a second equaliser, scored by Mohamed Salah.

Then in the 83rd minute, Salah scored again to put Liverpool up 3-2. But a late error by goalkeeper Caoimh Kelleher allowed Newcastle to concede a last-minute equaliser through Fabian Schar, cutting leaders Liverpool’s lead to seven points. Following the draw, Slott told Amazon Prime: “We were great in the second half, but not good enough in the first half. We probably deserved this game to be 3-3. They were really aggressive and forced us into mistakes, but we were much better in the second half.

We knew we could still turn the game around and we were a lot better with the ball. After the week we had, we were able to turn the game around. That’s a very positive thing.” Whenever we need Mo Salah, he scores goals. We expect and hope that he can continue like this for a long time.

He was outstanding in the second half and did a lot of special things for us. ” Liverpool’s next Premier League match is on Saturday at Goodison Park, where the Reds take on Everton in the Merseyside derby. With the Toffees sitting just above the relegation zone, the slot player will be expected to win this match after a great start to the season.
